Miramonte senior reaches rebounding milestone in win over Clayton Valley

Karena Eberts carried Miramonte to victory on Wednesday night against Clayton Valley Charter, scoring 30 points as the Matadors prevailed in a Diablo Athletic League game. Eberts also hit a milestone, with coach Vince Worthman noting that the senior forward grabbed her 1,000th rebound.

Robin Parmelee and Maegan Eichenberger each added six points apiece for the Matadors, who improved to 12-8 overall and 5-0 in the league. Adrianna Surney scored a team-high nine points for Clayton Valley, which dropped to 11-7.
