Miramonte ran away with this match early.

The Matadors put up two goals 50 seconds into the first period on Wednesday and didn't look back.

UCLA commit Ally Larsen totaled five goals and made plays on the defensive end to seal the win for Miramonte.

"We go as Ally does," Miramonte head coach John Roemer said. "She can always handle the physicality."

Bea Hearey and Roxie Tarantino each added four goals for Miramonte. Las Lomas' Aylin Chamanpardaz, Makena Dietschy and Cam Randall each had two goals.

Miramonte (11-5, 1-1) has had multiple signature wins in the last two weeks, including victories over St. Francis, Sacred Heart Prep, Carondelet and Acalanes.

"We work really hard," Roemer said. "But we also focus a lot on having fun. We're coming together. We did really well in the Arroyo Grande Tournament, beating Carondelet, which is a really good team. We beat Sacred Heart Prep, another really good team. I think we're playing our best water polo right now."
