Strong season for Women's Junior Varsity Basketball continues

With an overall season record of 12-9 and a DAL league record of 8-2, the women's junior varsity basketball team has proven themselves to be strong contenders. After four straight wins this past week against Mt Diablo, Acalanes, Campolindo and Alhambra, respectively, the growth of the team is easy to see as Coach Ace Wright pointed out "the team has grown tremendously from the start of the season until now, if they continue to play with confidence they will end this season very well." before a win over Alhambra High School
During last week's home game vs. Acalanes High School, the Mats started the game with a dominating lead of 25-8, before going on to win with a final score of 52-17. Leading scorers for the game were Sydney Gray '27 with 20 points and Samantha Murphy '27 with 14 points.
