Miramonte Announces Transition in Varsity Basketball Leadership; Search Process for New Head Coach to Begin Immediately

Miramonte High School announces the departure of Chris Lavdiotis following a five-year tenure as the Men's Varsity Basketball Head Coach at Miramonte.

During his time at Miramonte, which began during the 2019-2020 school year, Lavdiotis led the Matadors to an overall record of 74 wins and 58 losses, with a Diablo Athletic League record of 25-32. 

The Miramonte administration and athletic department extends its appreciation to Lavdiotis and his coaching staff for their commitment, enthusiasm, and contributions to the basketball program. 

"Coach Lav's dedication and service to Miramonte Basketball have positively influenced the lives of numerous student-athletes over the past five years. On behalf of the entire Miramonte athletic community, I extend our gratitude to him and his staff for their dedication and congratulate them on their achievements."
