Miramonte Women's Volleyball matches up against Concord High this Thursday in celebration of their 5th Annual Dig Pink Game.

Partnering once again with the Side Out Foundation, the Lady Mats are united by their commitment to finding a cure for metastatic breast cancer, the most advanced and underfunded form of the disease. Through the Dig Pink Game, the Women's Volleyball program hopes to raise awareness about the disease and champion the individuals and families it affects on a daily basis. 

The Dig Pink Game is a player-led event that gives Matador student-athletes the opportunity to become community leaders who play an active role in fighting for the cause. The student-athlete leaders for this year's game are Chelsea Dao (Varsity), Avah Zarrin (JV), and Morgan Thompson (Freshman). Before the game, all Women's Volleyball players will have the chance to declare who they are playing for and write that name on a banner symbolizing the "Why" behind the Dig Pink game.

To support this campaign and help the Lady Mats reach their fundraising goal, please consider contributing to the cause. All donations will directly fund the Side Out Research Program and their mission of creating innovative treatments that extend and improve the lives of patients fighting metastatic breast cancer. Cookies, other baked goods, and raffle tickets will also be made available for purchase at the game, with all proceeds going directly to the Side Out Foundation.
