Miramonte offers a special shoutout to every Fall sport for representing our school and the Matador community with pride! See below for updates on your favorite teams...

CROSS COUNTRY
Cross Country has performed at a high-level all season, consistently finishing higher than larger schools in several meets and delivering some of the fastest times in school history, especially on the women's side. The team earned the Sweepstakes Award at the Roughrider Invitiational in Fresno for best combined finish between men's and women's races. Cross Country now looks forward to one more regular season meet on Wednesday (10/29) before taking their talents to the DAL, NCS, and CIF State Championships throughout November.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Despite an up-and-down season plagued by injuries, Flag Football still showed their potential to dominate, earning lopsided victories over Concord, Ygnacio Valley, and Mount Diablo. The Lady Mats look to build on this momentum heading into an expanded schedule next year.

FOOTBALL
Football delivered a thrilling victory over Las Lomas on Homecoming & Senior Night, earning their first DAL Foothill victory since 2018. Now 5-4, the Mats enter a bye-week prior to their rivalry matchup against Campolindo on Friday, November 7th.

WOMEN'S WATER POLO
Ranked 9th in the nation and 6th in the state according to Maxpreps, Women's Water Polo has accumulated an impressive 15-9 record despite playing one of the toughest schedules in the entire country. With impressive showings at prestigous tournaments such as the Acalanes Invitiational, Arroyo Grande Fall Classic, and NorCal Invitational, the Lady Mats are poised to make another deep playoff run.

MEN'S WATER POLO
Ranked 4th in the nation according to Maxpreps, Men's Water Polo has continued their storied tradition with outstanding finishes at a number of national tournaments. The Mats close out their regular season against College Park on Wednesday (10/29) before heading into DAL Tournament play on Thursday (10/30).

WOMEN'S GOLF
Women's Golf finished with an impressive 4-2 home record, dominating at Orinda Country Club with huge league wins over Las Lomas, Acalanes, and Concord. Despite a tough finish at the DAL Championship last week, the Lady Mats have 5 golfers who qualified for the NCS Division II Golf Championships starting today (10/27).

WOMEN'S TENNIS
With a 21-3 record in the regular season, the Lady Mats established themselves as one of the premier teams in Northern California. Women's Tennis finished undefeated in league play, earning them the regular season DAL Championship and the top seed in the upcoming DAL Tournament (10/28-10/29). Lady Mats Tennis has all the makings of a special team and has shown no signs of slowing down heading into the DAL, NCS, and CIF State Championships this month.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Women's Volleyball dominated the regular season, finishing with an 18-6 record and going undefeated in DAL play to earn a league championship. Thanks to a first place finish at the San Lorenzo Tournament and a flawless league record, the Lady Mats have earned the 6-seed in the NCS Division III Women's Volleyball Championships. They will play their first round matchup against Benicia at home tomorrow (10/28).

SIDELINE CHEER
Sideline Cheer showed up and showed out throughout the entire Fall season, hyping up students and supporters at a variety of Matador games. The Lady Mats brought their energy and spirit to every home football matchup, helping lift Miramonte to huge wins over opponents such as Alhambra, Montgomery, and Las Lomas. Highlights of the season include the Mini Mats performing alongside the Sideline Cheer team!

UNIFIED SOCCER

Despite the program being in its infancy, Miramonte Unified Soccer delivered top-shelf performances against Acalanes and Heritage while showing off their elite goal-scoring prowess. Alongside their Unified Partners, each player made a huge impact while embodying a culture of competition, inclusion, and collaboration. Unified Sports will continue with Basketball in the Winter.
