Alexi is a Lamorinda native and grew up playing soccer since the age of 4. He earned DFAL all-league honors and the coach's award at Acalanes, placing second in the 2002 NCS Finals against Northgate to finish his high school career. He continued to play after graduation, participating in the San Diego County Soccer League, the German Kreisliga B, the NorCal Semi-Pro Indoor League, the San Francisco Soccer Football League, and countless other men's and co-ed leagues around the Bay Area until hitting the wall in his early 40's. His occupational career centered around soccer as well, as he worked for a soccer-specific data and analytics company for 11 years. The company provided services for many top programs, including MLS, LigaMX, Bundesliga, and German & USA national teams. Needless to say, he's seen a lot of soccer in his life and as a passionate student of the game, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the coaching position.
Alexi currently coaches club at East Bay Eclipse, developing the 2009 boys, and began his time at Miramonte with the 2024-25 season as the JV assistant coach. Now with a big influx of freshman talent this 2025-26 season, he has assumed the role of Head Coach of the new Frosh team. He's excited to continue building and developing at Miramonte, focusing on hard work, discipline, and individual expression in the beautiful game.
