Before they met on Saturday for the NorCal Division I championship at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, rivals Miramonte and Campolindo had played six previous times this season.

Miramonte won each of them.

The regional championship match proved to be no different as the Mats took command in the first quarter, building a 5-1 advantage, and never looked back as they captured their third consecutive Division I title and fourth in the five tournaments that have been played.

Rosalie Hassett had four goals, three steals and an assist, Ally Larsen added three goals and Alison Sagara handed out six assists to lead the way.

Audrina Kang, Bea Hearey and Marta Maninetti also scored a goal for Miramonte, which got eight saves from goalie Eliana Bottene.
