Lady Mats Lacrosse wins back and forth match, moves on to NCS Semi-Finals

In a match that lived up to its highly anticipated expectations between two teams playing their best lacrosse of the season, Miramonte grinded out a back and forth 14-12 victory over Justin Siena High School. Justin Siena (#6 seed) came into the North Coast Section (NCS) second round match-up winning 14 of their last 15 including a perfect 9-0 record in league play. Miramonte also finished the year strong going 9-3 since March 7th.Â

Elsa Schroeder was under heavy fire all night, but managed to save 10 of the 22 shots that came her way.
The #3 Matadors advance to the Semi-finals where they will face the #2 seed Campolindo High School @ Campolindo High School, on May 7th at 7:00pm.
