Sawyer Bohlig has been nominated for the Bay Area News Group Girls Athlete of the Week award.

Sawyer's nomination was announced on the heels of her performance versus Las Lomas last Tuesday. With three goals and two assists, Sawyer helped Miramonte triumph over the Knights in a tightly contested league battle. Voted as a team captain this season, Sawyer hopes to lead the 6-2 Mats to continued success when they take on Rancho Cotate tomorrow (3/24) at 7:00 PM.
