Lady Mats Soccer improves to 6-4 with a convincing win versus Alhambra High School

Coming off a tough stretch of games against Carondelet and Clayton Valley Charter, Lady Mats Soccer got back on track with a total team win against Alhambra High School. On a very chilly night, the offense shined through with 5 goals. Led by Team Captains: Senior Katrina White #1, Junior Sadie Leal-Schuman #4, and Senior Olivia Penney #6, the Mats offense controlled possession from start to finish, with each of the three scoring a goal on the night. However, the night belonged to Freshman Jordan Matthews #23, who scored 2 goals, including a perfect penalty kick just before the first half ended.
The dominant match moves Miramonte to (6-4) overall and (1-1) in Diablo Athletic League play!
