Miramonte High School honors the contributions of Coach Taylor Abbott, who will be stepping away from the Women's Soccer program after leading the varsity team for the past four seasons. During his tenure, Abbott guided the Mats to an impressive 52-21-7 record, including several NCS appearances and a Division III NCS Championship in 2024. The Miramonte administration and athletic department extend their appreciation to Coach Abbott for his devotion, energy, and impact on the program.

"We thank Coach Abbott for the time and commitment he gave to our student-athletes and the Women's Soccer program," said Principal Ben Campopiano. "He played a key role in guiding the team to success on the field, and we are grateful for his efforts as head coach."

"Coach Abbott helped maintain a competitive standard and supported the development of many of our players during his time here," said Athletic Director Sean Hennessy. "We're appreciative for the work he put into the program and wish him well moving forward."

As Miramonte enters a new chapter of its Women's Soccer program, the administration and athletic department will begin a thorough search for a new head coach. More information about the open position and application process will be posted soon.
