Men's Water Polo Impresses at Elite 8 Tournament in SoCal

Miramonte's Varsity Men's Water Polo team traveled to Southern California last weekend to compete in the prestigious Elite 8 Tournament at Harvard-Westlake School. Matching up against some of the best teams in the country, the Mats more than held their own, claiming signature victories over powerhouses JSerra Catholic, Harvard-Westlake, and Corona Del Mar.

The Mats earned 3rd place on the weekend, their highest finish in a major national tournament since 2012 (when current Head Coach Drew Holland was in goal)! Thanks to their impressive showing, Miramonte Men's Water Polo is now ranked #4 in the country according to MaxPreps.

The squad hopes to keep the momentum going in two huge matchups this week versus Acalanes (10/8) and De La Salle (10/10). The entire Mats community will be there to support!
