Miramonte Varsity Women's Tennis earned the top spot at the James Logan Elite Tennis Tournament in dominant fashion. The tournament frequently draws the top contending NCS teams, making the Lady Mats' commanding victory even more impressive. Miramonte won all three dual matches, defeating Irvington 6-1, Campolindo 6-1, and Northgate 6-1. DAL rivals secured 2nd and 3rd place, shaping up for some highly competitive matches for the Lady Mats come league play.  

Caitlin Chan led the team in Singles, winning all three matches at the top spot. Like Chan, First Year Madeline Stout also had an undefeated showing in Singles. Sisters Madeleine Essner and Isabelle Essner combined for a dominant performance in the #1 Doubles group, highlighting a 9-0 collective record for the Lady Mats in Doubles play. 

The season is just beginning, but even with a fast start, the Miramonte Varsity Women's Tennis team is determined to get better and achieve their championship aspirations.
