Savvy Prince has been named the Head Sideline Cheer Coach at Miramonte High School.
Prince brings extensive experience as both a performer and coach. After a four-year varsity cheer career at Benicia High School, she performed with Ole Miss's Dance Company and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in theatre arts. As a collegiate, she honed her coaching skills by teaching at competitive dance companies in both Mississippi and California.
Upon graduation, Prince coached and choreographed competitive teams recognized at the national level, leading dancers to top honors at prestigious events throughout the country. Her background in competitive cheer and dance has equipped her with a strong foundation in teamwork, communication, team administration, and student development.
"Savvy's program leadership experience will be an incredible asset to Miramonte," said Principal Ben Campopiano. "Beyond her expertise, she brings a devotion to mentorship and school spirit that will strengthen our community and student-athletes."
"Savvy's background and energy make her a perfect fit for Miramonte," said Athletic Director Sean Hennessy. "She has a proven record of developing young performers into confident leaders, and we're thrilled to have her guide our Sideline Cheer program."
Prince is eager to inspire the next generation of Miramonte student-athletes through her passion for spirit, performance, and leadership.
"I am honored to serve as the new Sideline Cheer Coach for Miramonte," said Savvy Prince. "I look forward to bringing energy, teamwork, and school spirit to every game and event while supporting our students and student-athletes."
