In an epic five game showcase between bitter rivals Miramonte and Campolindo, the Mats took home bragging rights, earning a collective 3-0-2 record on the day.

The 2nd Annual Lamorinda Soccer Day featured a full day's worth of high-level soccer, including men's and women's matches at multiple levels. The Lamorinda soccer community showed out in full force to support both schools in an event that captured everything that is great about high school sports: community, rivalry, passion, and school pride.

The Miramonte Freshman team kicked off the slate in dominant fashion, cruising to a 6-1 victory. Following two hard fought JV games that resulted in draws, the Mats' men's and women's Varsity teams took center stage to close out the evening.

After a scoreless first half, the Miramonte women's team erupted for four second half goals that propelled them to a decisive 4-1 victory over the Cougars. The men's game was highlighted by a masterful 35-yard goal from junior captain Graham Jenkins that proved to be the difference in Miramonte's 1-0 win.

Congratulations to our student-athletes for their impressive performances and thank you to the coaches, players, volunteers, and supporters that made this year's Lamorinda Soccer Day so special!
