Miramonte Caps Off Record-Setting Season at NCS Championships

Miramonte Wrestling took to the NCS Championships this Saturday and did not disappoint.

The Matadors had 9 wrestlers qualify for NCS - the program's largest number since 1998!

Most notably, junior Finn Hura and senior Elliot Orr reached the podium in their respective divisions. Hura finished in 3rd place at 144 pounds, the highest finish for a Miramonte wrestler since 2017. Unseeded to begin the tournament, he took down multiple top-seeded wrestlers on his way to the podium. Orr finished in 7th place at 165 pounds, claiming the same spot that he earned in last year's tournament. He is the first Miramonte back-to-back NCS medalist since 2017.
