Freshman Sammy Hardy Throws No-Hitter, Leads Mats Over San Lorenzo

Mats Freshman Sammy Hardy dominated on the mound and at the plate as Miramonte took down San Lorenzo 11-0 on Monday. Hardy threw a no-hitter against the Grizzlies and went 3-3 with a home run. Hardy's performance marks Miramonte's second no-hitter of the season, coming on the heels of Abby Warren's no-no against Deer Valley just three weeks ago.

Hardy's efforts were supported by catchers Maddie McKim and Talia Kardon, both of whom guided the defense seamlessly en route to the shutout. Besides McKim and Kardon, four other Mats batters had great offensive showings, with Warren, Lucy Daoust, Kennedy Adams, and Penelope Hagan all delivering hits.

Congratulations to Mats Softball and Sammy Hardy for making their mark on Miramonte sports history. The entire Mats community supports them as they enter the heart of DAL play!
