On to NCS Championships; Miramonte Softball reaches NCS FinalsÂ

Miramonte softball has advanced to the North Coast Section (NCS) Division 5 championship game after a thrilling 2–1 victory over top-seeded McKinleyville. Junior Abby Warren pitched a complete game, giving up only 1 run while striking out 7. Warren also had 2 hits at the plate, and Lucy Daoust and Avery Haynes had a double and a triple respectively.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 12:00pm where the Mats will face second-seeded Kennedy High School. The game will be played at The School For the Deaf, in Fremont.
Kennedy High School, located in Richmond, California, is a member of the Mission Valley Athletic League and competes in the Bay Shore Conference of the North Coast Section. Kennedy finished the year 12-8 overall, with an 8-6 record overall in a very tough Mission Valley League.
