    • Personal: Attended Miramonte High School in Orinda, Calif...Led the league in strikeouts and innings pitched in 2015 as a senior for the Matadors...Was an All-League selection in 2015 as a senior, was named to California's All-Region Team, DFAL First Team All-Academic, won the Will Newton Award and also won the Scholastic Award...Was a California Scholarship Federation member and won an AP Scholar Award...Loves to travel, watch and play sports, spend time with his family and be active in his spare time and is always curious to discover new things...After baseball, is interested in business and entrepreneurship and looks to earn work experience and potentially go to graduate school once his baseball career is complete...Parents are Peter and Katie Jackson...Has an older brother, Brett, who is a former Bear and first round pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 2009 MLB First Year Player Draft, older sister, Lindsey, who also attends Cal and another older brother, Drew, who played baseball at Stanford and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2015's MLB First Year Player Draft...Father, Peter, and cousin, Stuart Jackson, also attended Cal...Born Sept. 1, 1997 in Berkeley, Calif.
