- 2023 (Track & Field): Made her sole appearance of the 2023 indoor season at the Ken Shannon Invite… Ran a 17:29.30 in the 5000m event… Competed in one race during the outdoor season at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival… Finished the outdoor 5000m race in 17:11.74, the fourth-fastest time for the Bruins during the season.
- 2022 (Cross Country): Did not compete for the Bruins.
- 2022 (Track & Field): Ran three races for the Bruins during the outdoor campaign... Made her debut at the West Coast Relays on April 1, running the 5000m race... Also competed in the 5000m at the Chris Rinne Twilight, placing first... Finished fourth in the 3000m against rival USC, helping the Bruins capture the top five spots in the race.
- 2021 (Cross Country): Competed in four meets as a true freshman this past cross country season … Made her UCLA debut at the Dellinger Invitational, where she finished as the Bruins’ top runner in 46th place overall (21:02.1) … Made her postseason debut at the Pac-12 Championships, scoring for the Bruins with a 52nd-place finish and a 6k time of 22:27.3 … Capped her year at NCAA West Regionals, going 21:39.5 for 90th place overall.
MIRAMONTE HIGH SCHOOL ('21)
- High School: Becomes a Bruin an impressive four years at Miramonte High School, where she picked up a 20th-place finish at the State Meet in 2018 and a seventh-place showing in 2019 … Junior cross country season saw her win 11 of the 12 meets in which she raced, including the Asics Clovis Cross Country Invite, where she posted a 5k PR of 17:49.2 … Also secured a victory at the 2019 NCS Section Meet, clocking a three-mile time of 17:27.2 … 2021 track season saw Allen notch personal-best times in the 1600m (4:58.48) and 3200m (10:26.06) … Also boasts relay experience, running legs on Miramonte's 4x400m and DMR squads this past season … As a sophomore in 2019, she picked up six individual victories across the 1600m and 3200m.
- Personal: Born in Berkeley, Calif., to parents Jefferson and Seanna Allen … Has an older sister, Emery … Plans to major in Business Economics at UCLA … Chose UCLA because, “…I wanted to challenge myself athletically and academically, I wanted to be a Division I athlete, and will have the opportunity to compete at a very high level while receiving an incredible education” … Says racing the 3200m at the Arcadia Invitational as a senior was her greatest athletic thrill … She PRed by 17 seconds down to 10:26.06 to break a 38-year-old school record that was set the same year her dad graduated from Miramonte … Admires elite track athletes Emma Coburn, Karissa Schweizer, Allyson Felix, and Sydney McLaughlin … Has a food account on Instagram that shows off plant-based recipes that she creates … Has six cats.
