DREW BENNETT, '96
Drew Bennett earned two varsity letters in football, three in basketball, and two in baseball. As a senior, he earned first-team All-League and second-team All-Bay Area honors while he led the football team to a league championship as a quarterback. He also averaged 17 points per game in basketball and was first team All-League. As a senior on the Matadors baseball squad, he batted .430 and was first team All-League. Drew went on to play football at UCLA, where he was converted from quarterback to wide receiver. In 2001, as an undrafted free agent, he signed with the Tennessee Titans, where he played from 2001 to 2006. He also played for the St. Louis Rams in 2007 and 2008 before finishing his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens in 2009. Drew started 58 games over his NFL career and tied the NFL record for TD receptions over a three game span (8).
