Miramonte High School

JAMES STOCKHOLM (1980-2012)
James Stockholm supported the Miramonte Athletic Program for many years after his own children had graduated. He was the founder and first president of the Miramonte Athletic Boosters and both planned and funded "Stockholm's Store," which is now a fixture in the Miramonte Football Stadium. Stockholm was the unofficial leader of the "Grandpas," a group of former Miramonte fathers who attended a plethora of Miramonte sporting events, both home and away, over many years. Stockholm even drove carpools for some teams when needed. He was a welcome and beloved Miramonte sports fixture up until his passing in 2012.
